張鳳 Phong Chang
曾任哈佛燕京圖書館編目組館員 25 年，現為哈佛中國文化工作坊主持人、世界華人作家筆會榮譽主席，亦為著名得獎作家，長期致力於中國學相關研究與文化推廣。著有《哈佛問學30 年》、《哈佛問學錄》、《海外著名華文女作家散文自選集—哈佛采微》等作。
Former staff of cataloging development at Harvard-Yenching Library, Phong Chang is an award-winning author and Honorary Chair of the World Chinese Writers Association. She has devoted over 30 years to the study and promotion of Chinese studies and culture.

Talk Description｜演講簡介
本演講回顧哈佛大學一百多年來中國學的發展歷程，始於1879年首聘中文教師。演講將結合上百幅珍貴歷史圖片，梳理哈佛燕京學社與燕京圖書館的創建、東亞研究學科的形成，以及華裔與國際學者在哈佛中國學發展中的重要貢獻。
This lecture traces the development of Chinese Studies at Harvard University over more than a century, beginning with the appointment of the first Chinese language instructor in 1879. Drawing on over one hundred rare historical images, the talk examines the founding of key institutions such as the Harvard-Yenching Institute and Library, the emergence of East Asian Studies as a discipline, and the intellectual contributions of major Chinese and Chinese diaspora scholars at Harvard.
