\u3000\u3000This workshop brings together scholars in Comparative Literature, Translation Studies, Linguistics, and World Literature to advance \u201cmultilingualism as method\u201d as a critical approach to translationality. While literary multilingualism has generated vibrant theoretical interest, its critical reception remains largely shaped by monolingual assumptions that treat languages, texts, and genres as discrete and bounded. Responding to this tension, the workshop is grounded in three conceptual pillars: archipelagic thinking, translationality, and the multilingual histories of literature and orature. It approaches language as inherently multilingual, literature as encompassing both written and performed forms, and textuality as fundamentally intertextual, thereby reimagining literariness as a dynamic practice of languaging and translanguaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
